Dr. Briley graduated from medical school at the University of Louisville in 2004. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Louisville, where she was Chief Medical Resident. She completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Briley is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association. She is a lifelong resident of the Louisville area.
Lauren C. Briley, M.D
Dr. Dobozi received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in Massachusetts in 1994 and his medical degree from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University of Chicago in 1999.
He completed his internship and residency at the University of Kentucky and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Dobozi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointentinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology and sits on the Medical Advisory Committee for the Kentucky Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
Dr. Dobozi's hobbies include breeding and racing thoroughbred horses, reading, golf, music and spending time with his family. Dr. Dobozi and his wife Shay have two daughters, Avery and Halory.

Dr. Greenwellattended medical school at the University of Louisville, graduating in 1985. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville
and completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Greenwell is a member of the American Gastroenterologic Association and a founding partner of Gastro East Physicians.
Michael V. Greenwell, M.D
Dr. Heine graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and was Cheif Medicine Resident at the University of Louisville. He finished a three year fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Virginia.
He is a member in many medical organizations (AGA, ASGE, ACG), and Alpha Omega Medical Society. He is the author of several articles, a textbook chapter, and given many presentations dealing with gastroenterology. He was voted by his medical peers as a "Top Doc" in several surveys in Louisville Magazine. Dr. Heine is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Kevin J. Heine, M.D.
Dr. Makk is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1981 and then attended Tulane University for his undergraduate work. In 1989, he completed his medical degree at the University of Louisville. He underwent his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky. He returned to Louisville to complete his Internal Medicine residency in 1992 and fellowship in Gastroenterology in Hepatology in 1994.
Dr. Makk is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He and his wife, Ginger, have two sons and a daughter.

Lori Weis is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1995. She then went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in 1999, completing her Family Nurse Practitioner Training program at Spalding University in 2003.
She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She has worked as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital East for eight years and has also worked as a Nurse Practitioner with Gastro East Physicians for seven years.
